Bella Poarch
Global pop phenomenon Bella Poarch is a Filipina-American singer and songwriter who has emerged as a dynamic and influential figure in entertainment with over 4.5 billion career streams and 125 million followers across social platforms. The U.S. Navy veteran has created countless home recordings based on her emotionally raw lyrics and self-taught ukulele skills. Her debut EP, Dolls (2022), showcased her initial foray into music with standout tracks like its first single, “Build a B*tch.” The track made history, reaching the Billboard Hot 100, getting RIAA platinum-certified, and smashing the record for the biggest debut on YouTube by a brand-new artist, with over 75 million first-week video views. The star has already collaborated with artists like Grimes, Kenia Os, and Sub Urban.
Growing up on a farm in the Philippines, Bella first discovered her vocal gifts as a little girl and soon started performing despite her parents’ disapproval. “I was expected to just focus on academics and not do anything extracurricular, but I’d join all these singing competitions and talent shows even though I wasn’t allowed,” says Bella. Over the years, she collected over 30 medals from those contests without her parents’ knowledge, and in high school began writing her own songs. With her family relocating to California, Bella graduated from high school at age 16 and joined the military at 17.

In her four years of service, Bella worked on helicopters and jets all over the U.S. and in Japan, ultimately landing in Hawaii after her contract ended. She now holds the record for the most likes on a TikTok video, an August 2020 post that’s surpassed 50 million likes.
Bella’s debut full-length album, PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY, will be released this fall. The first single, “Ribcage,” marks a distinct evolution in Bella’s artistry, offering an intimate glimpse into the emotional world that defines her forthcoming album, a cinematic coming-of-age project that blends surreal fairytale imagery with deeply personal storytelling. With “Ribcage,” Bella Poarch introduces her next chapter and further establishes herself as a compelling voice in dark pop defined by honesty and imagination.

Bella continues to build momentum toward PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY. She graced the cover of Vogue Philippines, further cementing her presence across music and fashion. Bella made a series of high-profile appearances, most recently serving as an in-show presenter at Billboard Women in Music Awards, walking Red Carpets like the Fashion Trust U.S. Gala earlier this month, sitting front row at Gucci during the two most recent Milan Fashion Weeks, and walking in this year’s AHA Red Dress Concert. Her work continues to resonate across pop culture, including her recent renditions of “Zombie” and “Don’t Fear the Reaper,” both featured in Netflix’s Wednesday.
